Alex Stark has over 20 years experience, working both here in the UK and at conventions worldwide. He specialises in Japanese, realism and dot work. In 2013, Alex and his wife Katy took on a venture close to their roots back in Lincolnshire. On September 3rd 2013, they opened their own custom tattoo studio in Lincoln. A stylised studio born from imagination, passion and a love for all things pirate (a theme which continues throughout the studio with great attention to detail). Alex, Katy and all of The Tattooed Arms crew strive to maintain high standards of creativity and customer service. They have a knack for taking an idea and translating it into a tattoo which is one off and personal. They are known for pushing boundaries and supplying people with quality custom tattoos in a relaxed, welcoming, community focused environment. To celebrate a decade of The Tattooed Arms, t-shirts are available in store, designed by Alex; featuring the brand new shop logo. Pop in to browse and enquire.

The Tattooed Arms also offers piercings and laser tattoo removal. All piercings are done safely with needles (no guns allowed)! Make sure to keep an eye out over the coming months for guest artists, news and deals across social media.

Have been several times and even though some of my circle have thought my ideas are obscure, the staff have been polite, supportive (managed not to laugh or curse). Plus have waved me in the right direction for the ideal artist.

Great friendly staff, lovely environment, music is bit esoteric but really adds to the whole place. Plus big Thanks to Rob for the awesome designs.

I just want to say thank you to everyone here for the most amazing experience! In the past couple of months I've had my first ever piercing and tattoo. Booking was incredibly easy and I felt welcomed at the shop when I arrived. The consultation was great, and made sure I knew what I was getting and made sure it was exactly what I was after, then I was made very comfortable having both the piercing and tattoo done. I loved the sense of community here as well, I felt incredibly at home here with the lovely interior which made the experience memorable as well as how the team treated me whilst I was with them, and I felt like I could come back to ask any questions or concerns if I needed to. Definitely recommend.

From consultation to aftercare The Tattooed Arms are hands down the best tattoo shop in Lincoln! I wouldn't go anywhere else for my tattoos or piercings. Highly recommended if you want bespoke tattoos from true ARTISTS!
